GETTING STARTED
7a0 (Sete a Zero, Portuguese for 'Seven to Zero') is a free browser-based World Cup simulator. You draft players from historical World Cup squads (1950–2026) to build a dream team, then simulate the tournament.
Yes — 7a0 is completely free and runs entirely in your web browser. No download, no account, no in-app purchases. Simply visit 7a0.com.br and start playing.
The database includes 52 national teams, 250 World Cup squads spanning 1950 to 2026, and 5,729 individual players rated by their tournament performance.
7a0 is available in English, Portuguese, and Spanish. You can switch languages from the main menu.
GAMEPLAY MECHANICS
You roll a virtual dice to reveal a random national team from a specific World Cup year. Choose one player to fill an open slot. Repeat until all 11 positions are filled. You have 3 wildcards to skip unfavorable rolls.
Wildcards let you skip a roll you don't like. You receive exactly 3 per run. Save at least one for the final slots when weak squads appear.
Classic mode shows player ratings during the draft. Memory mode hides ratings — you must rely on football knowledge to identify the best players.
After completing your draft, the game simulates a full World Cup tournament. Match outcomes are determined by squad ratings with some randomness.
Yes. You can change your formation before each roll if your draft is not going according to plan.
SHARING & SOCIAL
After completing your draft, the game generates a unique share code. Copy and share it on social media. Friends can enter your code to view your exact lineup.
Sete a Zero has no microtransactions. The 'codes' players share are Team Share Codes for comparing lineups — not promo codes for unlocking rewards.
Active communities are on Reddit (r/footballcliches, r/soccer), Twitter/X with #7a0, and Brazilian football forums.
TIPS & STRATEGY
A squad average above 87 is generally competitive. An average of 90+ gives you a strong chance of winning. Elite runs with 92+ are nearly unbeatable.
Brazil 1970, Argentina 1986, Argentina 2022, Germany 2014, France 2006, Netherlands 1974, and Brazil 2002 are the highest-rated squads. Never skip these with a wildcard.
4-3-3 is the recommended starting formation. It provides balanced structure that works well regardless of your draft outcome.
Memorize the top 10 World Cup squads. Know each squad's goalkeeper, two centre-backs, and best attacker. After 10–20 Classic runs, you'll naturally recognize elite squads.
